kevin cincotta's we'll be waiting by the lighthouse is from his "gestures of love" series.  this particular piece depicts the story of a parent and child waiting for someone special to return home from the sea.  lighthouses are meant to guide people home, and away from danger - therefore, in his paintings cincotta portrays them as symbols of family, safety and love.
